Including a juice bar in your breakfast plan

A breakfast drinks plan should explain what guests will have, where they will collect it and who looks after the equipment afterwards. The Fables juice bar provides a published range to discuss, but food and drinks still need their own clear inclusions in the complete morning proposal.

Start with the published juice choices

The juice bar lists orange, apple, tropical, cranberry, pomegranate and pineapple juices, plus water with ice, lemon and lime. Use those choices to explain the range you would like considered. Confirm the actual selection in the quotation rather than assuming every listed drink comes with a different breakfast menu. If your venue or workplace is already providing some drinks, identify them at the outset. That makes it easier to discuss what is still required and avoid overlapping arrangements.

Count the people using the drinks service

Give the number expected to have drinks during each breakfast window. Keep early and later groups clear when guests arrive at different times. Explain whether drinks accompany food, welcome people before a meeting or remain part of a longer gathering. Ask how the proposed quantity will be agreed. Do not turn the event’s total attendance into an assumed drinks calculation without considering who will actually be present, which drinks they are being offered and the period the proposal covers.

Review where people approach and leave

Place the proposed drinks position on the same room plan as the food, registration desk, seating and main entrances. Consider whether someone collecting a drink can move away without blocking people choosing food. A separate position may help some events, but its equipment and working arrangement need confirmation. Describe any room change during the morning, including when the drinks area must be cleared. Do not rely on moving equipment to an unreviewed corner after guests have already arrived.

List the drinking vessels and equipment

Ask who supplies cups or glasses and how they will be presented. Include any equipment needed for the selected drinks rather than assuming a photographed jar or display is included in every quotation. Tell Fables which items the venue has offered and have their suitability confirmed by the relevant provider. Check where spare and used items can go. If guests carry drinks into a meeting room, include that room in the collection and clearing plan so the end of the service is understood.

Allocate the practical jobs

Separate setting up, serving or replenishing where agreed, clearing guest items and preparing equipment for collection. Name which party handles each task: Fables, venue staff, a workplace team or another supplier. Ask for any required serving help and hours to be quoted clearly. The existence of drinks on the menu does not establish an attended or continually replenished service. Resolve the handover when one team leaves before another, particularly where a breakfast room becomes a working or conference space immediately afterwards.

Keep food and drinks requirements together

Send the preferred food format, drinks selection, guest groups, timetable and venue details as one brief. Identify any confirmed arrangements supplied elsewhere, such as the workplace’s existing drinks service, so the proposal can avoid unnecessary duplication. Discuss ingredient information and any food intolerance before booking and wait for express confirmation. Fables does not cater for food allergies, and a drink’s name is not a suitability guarantee. Have changes recorded alongside the meal so the final document describes the whole morning.

Questions for the breakfast drinks brief

  • Which published drinks are requested?
  • Who will use the service and when?
  • Where will drinks be collected and consumed?
  • Who provides cups, glasses and equipment?
  • Who sets out, replenishes and clears?
  • What does the complete written proposal include?

Treat drinks as part of the breakfast experience with their own quantity, equipment and task list. Send those decisions with your menu enquiry so the complete arrangement can be discussed.
