Corporate Buffet Catering
Make food part of a well-planned working day. Fables provides buffet catering for businesses across the UK, including meetings, conferences, networking events and staff celebrations. Start with your event timetable and the number of people eating, then agree a menu and service arrangement that fit the occasion.
Choose food around the purpose of the event
A working lunch, a break between conference sessions and a staff celebration have different requirements. Tell us whether food will be the main meal or part of a wider programme. Our buffet options include sandwich platters, grazing platters and hot buffets, with bespoke menus discussed around your preferences and budget.
Consider where people will eat and whether they will remain seated, move between rooms or return to a meeting afterwards. Share those details with your enquiry so menu discussions begin with the actual setting.
Fit the buffet into the timetable
Give us the intended serving time and explain whether everyone has the same break or guests will arrive in groups. For a conference, include the session schedule and any fixed room-access times. For a working lunch, distinguish the delivery time you need from the time people will start eating.
If numbers are provisional, say so and identify who will confirm them. Keep one agreed total and a separate count for any expressly accepted intolerance requirements.
Agree delivery, staffing and venue arrangements
Delivery and full service are quote-specific. Our catering service styles guide can help you describe what you need. Delivery, setup, serving, clearing and equipment must each be explicitly listed in your quotation; do not assume they are included together.
Tell us about reception procedures, parking or loading access, lifts, meeting-room restrictions, available tables and equipment. If service is staffed, it ends when the booked quantity has been served or the agreed service period ends, whichever comes first. Guest waste, bins and venue cleaning remain the client’s or venue’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed with Fables.
Food intolerances and allergies
Fables caters for agreed food intolerances only. We do not cater for food allergies.
Please discuss any food intolerance with us before booking so we can confirm whether we can accommodate it. A request is included only once Fables has expressly confirmed the arrangements; entering it on a form does not confirm acceptance.
Our kitchens and mobile catering units handle allergens, and cross-contact can occur. We provide ingredient and allergen information, but do not guarantee allergen-free food. Vegan options are not necessarily suitable for someone with a food allergy.
Coeliac disease requires separate consideration and must not be treated as an ordinary intolerance request. Do not assume our food is suitable.
Confirm the agreed intolerance requirements and portion numbers on your final booking form, and tell us promptly about any changes. Please do not include guests’ names or medical histories.
Read our catering FAQs before booking.
Corporate buffet questions
Can we enquire before attendance is final?
Yes. Give your current estimate and make clear that it may change. Your quotation and final arrangements need to reflect the confirmed numbers and food requirements.
What should the organiser send?
Include the date, venue postcode, numbers, serving time, budget, food preferences and access details. Use our catering quote checklist to gather the practical information before enquiring.
Request a corporate buffet quote with your event brief so the menu, quantities and service can be agreed together.
