Coordinate LOVE Letters with Your Room Lighting
Colour decisions become clearer when you explain the feeling you want in the room, not only a shade you saw on a screen. The published Fables LOVE letters offer 132 colour-changing options. Ask which settings can be agreed for your booking and how they will sit beside the rest of the lighting.
Keep the request specific to LOVE lettering. The published colour description does not establish identical settings or dimensions for every illuminated item.
Describe the atmosphere and the moment
Write down when the letters will be most prominent: guest arrival, the meal, first-dance photographs or the evening party. Explain whether you want them to blend into the room or act as a distinct focal point. Those choices can point towards white, a steady colour or a changing effect.
Use a small reference set and label what you like in each image. A colour, the brightness of the surrounding room and the photographic treatment are different things. A reference explains a preference; it does not promise that a different venue will look identical.
Show the other lights on the plan
Tell Fables about the DJ or band lighting, venue uplighting and any nearby illuminated features. Put their positions beside the letters on the room plan. Ask the responsible suppliers to review the combined look rather than selecting every effect independently.
Discuss any effects you would prefer to avoid and make those preferences part of the operator’s brief. The sound and lighting planning guide helps collect information from different providers. Each item still needs its own confirmed setting and operating arrangement.
Confirm who handles changes
If you hope to change the look between daytime and evening use, raise the idea before booking. Ask whether the selected display can support the requested change, who would make it and when. Do not build the running order around a setting change that has not been agreed.
Record the accepted appearance and the person who can authorise any alteration on the day. Share the final information with the event coordinator and photographer where relevant. If the room or other lighting changes later, have the combined plan reviewed again rather than assuming the earlier discussion covers it.
Your finished planning sheet
- The event moment and atmosphere you want the LOVE lettering to support.
- A short labelled reference set and nearby lighting positions.
- White, steady-colour or changing-effect preference, confirmed for the selected item.
- The agreed operator, change process and final dated lighting brief.
Questions to settle
Will a colour match our phone reference exactly?
Use the reference to explain the preference and discuss the proposed appearance. Screens, the room and photography can affect how colour looks, so obtain confirmation of the actual arrangement rather than assuming an exact visual match.
Can we change the colours ourselves during the event?
Agree who will operate the selected display and what changes are permitted before booking. Do not assume guest operation is part of the arrangement.
