Agree Cleaning and Servicing Questions for Standard Toilet Hire
A useful standard portable toilet quote should make the service arrangement clear for the whole period of hire. Delivery, guest use, any overnight period and collection may involve different questions.
Use this guide to ask for the arrangement your event needs. It does not set a universal cleaning schedule or promise that particular supplies or servicing are included.
Ask about cleaning at delivery
Ask how the units will be presented at the agreed delivery handover and how you should raise any issue noticed then. Name the person receiving the hire and give them the accepted booking details.
Record the number and type of units agreed, their intended positions and the delivery time. If something differs from the accepted arrangement, use the booking contact route promptly. Avoid leaving a concern unreported until after the event, when it may be harder to establish what happened or find a practical response.
Clarify supplies and replenishment
Ask which supplies form part of the proposed hire and what the event team should monitor. Clarify who is responsible for replenishment and how additional supplies, if needed, would be arranged.
Do not infer provision from a photograph or from another organiser's booking. The relevant answer is the one confirmed for your event and hire period. Keep any agreed quantities and responsibilities in the written arrangements so the people looking after the site have the same information as the person who requested the quote.
Discuss servicing for the full hire
Describe the full period when the units may be used, including setup days, overnight activity or a second event day. Ask whether servicing is proposed and how its timing and access would work.
A single evening and a multi-day programme should not be treated as identical requests. If your programme changes after the quote, send the revised dates and operating hours for review. Do not assume that adding another period of use leaves the original service arrangement unchanged.
Name the person checking facilities
Name the organiser or venue contact responsible for routine event checks. Ask Fables what the site team should report and how to make contact if attention is needed. This is a coordination role, not permission to improvise maintenance or handling procedures.
Give that person access to the confirmed service information, including any supplier visit expected during the hire. Keep sensitive personal details out of the shared sheet; the event, position and practical issue are usually the starting points for a useful report.
Record the issue contact and access needs
Confirm the contact route, the information to provide and any access that must remain available. Put the unit positions on the site plan so the relevant location can be identified clearly.
If an issue affects guest use, work with the venue and the agreed provider on a practical response. This guide does not promise a response time or a particular contingency. Discuss any specific concern before booking and ask which arrangements Fables can expressly confirm.
