List the Journeys for Your Wedding Car Hire

A wedding car enquiry becomes easier to assess when every requested movement is written as a separate journey. One date and two venue names may hide pickups, a change of passengers, photographs and a return trip.

Start with the movements you want considered. Fables can then discuss the actual vehicle, chauffeur option and hire scope rather than treating an outline itinerary as a confirmed arrangement.

Identify each pickup and destination

List the full pickup address and destination for the first journey, then repeat that exercise for every later movement. Use a clear label such as preparation address to ceremony or ceremony to reception. Where a venue has several entrances, identify the intended entrance as a question to confirm.

Separate journeys that are essential from those you would like considered. A possible return trip should remain visible as a request, even when it is not part of the first proposal.

Assign passengers per leg

Write the passenger group beside each leg. The people travelling to the ceremony may be different from those travelling onwards, and another guest may need a separate arrangement. Do not use a single total for the entire day if it conceals those changes.

Ask Fables to confirm the proposed passenger arrangement for the actual vehicle. No seat count, particular vehicle or passenger suitability is established by this planning sheet or by a reference photograph.

Mark required arrival times

Record the time each group needs to reach its destination. Explain whether the time is a venue requirement, a ceremony start or an early estimate. A required arrival and a departure time are different pieces of information.

Discuss the travel allowance with the proposed provider. A map estimate can help you explain the route, but it is not a guaranteed journey time. Ask how the accepted schedule will account for the actual arrangements and access points.

Separate photo stops and waiting

Show photograph stops and waiting as separate requests, including their locations and the part of the programme they affect. A stop on the same general route can still change the proposed hire period or arrival sequence.

Ask which stops and waiting periods can be agreed and how they appear in the quote. Give your photographer the accepted sequence so photographs are planned around the transport arrangement rather than added silently on the day.

Check the proposal covers the whole journey list

Read the returned proposal against the list one leg at a time. Check the vehicle, passenger arrangements, chauffeur request, pickup and destination details, accepted times, stops and hire period. Mark anything not answered as an open question.

Keep the final journey list with your car hire booking and share relevant arrival information with the venue. Tell Fables promptly if the route or passenger groups change.

Your finished planning sheet

  • One row for each pickup-to-destination movement.
  • The passenger group and required arrival for that row.
  • Exact entrances or access questions awaiting confirmation.
  • Optional stops, waiting and return trips shown separately.
  • The accepted vehicle, chauffeur arrangement and hire period.

Questions to settle

Does a journey list reserve every trip described?

No. It is your brief. Each requested movement needs to be included in the arrangement expressly confirmed by Fables.
