Check a Wedding or Event Car Hire Proposal
A car hire proposal is easier to review beside the brief you sent. The aim is to identify what has been confirmed, what differs from your first idea and what still needs an answer.
Check the whole arrangement rather than relying on a headline description or an inspiration photograph. Keep requested additions separate until Fables has expressly accepted them.
Check the proposed vehicle
Identify the actual vehicle or option described in the proposal and compare it with your essential style priorities. If the wording is too general to tell what is being proposed, ask for clarification before relying on it.
Do not assume that a reference image forms part of the agreement simply because it appeared in the enquiry. Keep the accepted details with the quote so the people coordinating pickup and photographs have a clear reference.
Confirm passenger arrangements
Check passenger arrangements for each journey, not just a total number for the day. Match any particular access, seating, clothing or luggage question with the answer given for the proposed vehicle.
Where a requirement is not answered, mark it as open and ask Fables to confirm the practical arrangement. This guide does not supply vehicle capacities or determine suitability; the actual proposal needs to address the requirement.
Match every journey and stop
Read the itinerary leg by leg. Check pickup and destination addresses, required arrival points, requested photo stops and any return journey. A trip mentioned in an early discussion may not be included in the proposal you receive.
Highlight a missing movement as a question rather than adding it to your own copy as though it were agreed. If you request a revision, retain the updated proposal and use that version for the final plan.
Review hire and waiting hours
Compare the accepted timings and hire period with your event programme. Ask which waiting is included and how the arrangement treats any proposed additional time. Make sure the chauffeur request, where relevant, is addressed explicitly.
No waiting tariff or extension promise is set by this page. If an inclusion or charge is unclear, ask for it to be explained in writing before you compare options or make decisions based on an assumed scope.
Clarify changes and final contacts
Confirm the contacts, entrance instructions and process for raising a change before the day. Read the proposal once more against the final passenger and journey sheet, then share the accepted timing with your venues.
Use the Fables car hire enquiry route to discuss questions. Keep the final confirmed scope separate from your inspiration folder so it is easy to find when practical arrangements are checked.

- Every accepted journey, stop and return listed.
- Chauffeur, waiting and hire period recorded explicitly.
- Open questions resolved and the final version retained.
Questions to settle
Can we compare quotes using the advertised car style alone?
Compare the confirmed practical scope too. Different passenger arrangements, journeys, waiting and hire periods can make headline descriptions difficult to compare.
