Plan Delivery and Placement of Personalised Details
A collection of personalised details is easier to place when the final schedule says what each item is, where it belongs and who is responsible for it. Those facts matter even when all the items share one visual style.
Confirm delivery, placement and any return arrangements for the actual booking. This guide does not assume setup or collection is included for every personalised item.
Mark items on the room plan
Give each accepted item a reference on the current room or site plan. Identify the exact table, entrance or display area rather than leaving placement as a general styling note.
Keep directions understandable to someone who did not create the design brief. A setup contact should be able to connect the labelled item with its agreed position without choosing between several inspiration pictures or old layouts.
List who supplies each element
List the provider of each item and any separate support or display element it needs. Name who brings it to the venue and who is responsible for the placement work accepted in the booking.
If another supplier contributes a stand, decoration or table, obtain their confirmation too. Writing an item on the setup sheet does not make it part of Fables' scope or transfer responsibility to a provider who has not agreed it.
Sequence placement after dressing or room changes
Show when the relevant area becomes ready. Table details may depend on linen, furniture and place settings, while a welcome item may need its position clear before guests arrive. Ask the affected people to agree a workable sequence.
Keep any room change or later relocation as a separate question. An item placed for the ceremony should not automatically be moved by guests or another supplier unless the actual arrangement has been discussed and accepted.
Confirm delivery and returns
Ask what delivery, handover and return arrangements apply to each accepted item. Identify the receiving person and any time or access detail the venue needs to accommodate.
Where something is hired or supplied by another provider, keep its particular return instructions with the schedule. No universal collection period or return charge is introduced here. Use the actual terms and arrangements confirmed for that item.
Keep one final item schedule
Maintain one dated item schedule showing accepted quantities, wording references, positions and responsibilities. Give the current version to the people doing the agreed setup and handover, rather than circulating unnecessary guest data or private planning notes.
Coordinate the items with the furniture plan and Fables custom touches arrangement. If the layout changes, review the affected placements before issuing the final sheet.
Your finished planning sheet
- A clear map reference for every accepted item.
- Named supply, support and placement responsibilities.
- An agreed sequence around room dressing and guest arrival.
- Confirmed handover and returns where applicable.
- One current schedule linked to the accepted specification.
Questions to settle
Is placing every personalised item automatically included?
No. Ask Fables and any other relevant provider to confirm the delivery, setup, placement and collection work applying to the actual items.
