How do we choose lighting for our venue?

Send a room photograph or layout, the approximate dimensions and the position of the dancing area. Describe the atmosphere you would like, from soft colour to a more energetic party feel, and tell us which effects you prefer to avoid. If you are hiring a dance floor, include its position in the same plan.

What should our DJ and venue confirm?

Check which lights your DJ or venue will already provide, any restrictions on particular effects, and when equipment can be set up and collected. Agree the available power, equipment positions and who will operate the lights.
