Planning power for your event

What details help us assess the power needed?

Ask each supplier for an equipment list, its power requirements and the times it will be used. Include catering appliances, lighting and sound equipment, together with any mains supply details you already have. Send a venue plan showing where the equipment will be positioned; photographs of equipment labels can also help us understand your requirements.

What should I confirm before booking a generator?

Ask which generator is proposed and what the quote includes for fuel, delivery, collection, cables and power distribution. Agree who will coordinate setup and operation, and check the proposed location and access with your venue. Include your marquee layout and any audio and visual hire in your generator enquiry so the overall plan can be reviewed.
