How pizza horsebox catering works
Bring the food, venue and timetable into one clear plan, from the first enquiry through the arrangements confirmed for your event.
Food, horseboxes and event moments.
1. Send your event brief
Start with the date, venue or area, postcode, estimated guest numbers and the time you want food served. Tell us whether pizza will be the main meal, evening wedding food or part of a wider catering plan.
Include any known access restrictions, setup windows or utility limitations. You can send a photograph or plan of the proposed serving area and entrance route to help discuss the setup. An enquiry does not reserve a date or confirm a booking.
2. Check the venue and menu
Fables will consider availability and the practical arrangements with you. Discuss the route, turning space, standing area and electricity supply so a suitable catering unit can be allocated.
Choose the pizza menu and explain any food intolerance requests before booking. Fables caters for expressly agreed intolerances only, not food allergies. A request entered on a form is not acceptance. The menu, quantities and accepted requirements need to be confirmed in your booking details.
3. Review the written arrangements
Your quotation and booking documents should make the menu, food provision, serving period and expressly included extras clear. Check the travel, setup and power arrangements for your venue and ask about anything you do not understand.
Fables selects a suitable unit based on access, space, guest numbers, staffing and operational requirements; photographs do not reserve an individual unit. If electricity is unavailable, arrange any own-power option in advance at a price agreed in writing.
4. Prepare for setup and service
Make sure the agreed access route and setup position are available at the arranged time, with venue or landowner permission and the required supply in place. Tell Fables promptly if your venue, numbers, timings or requirements change.
On the day, guests need to know when and where food is served. The agreed quantity is provided for up to the booked period; service finishes when either limit is reached first. Additional food, extended service and takeaway arrangements require express agreement and may involve extra charges.
Your pizza catering questions.
Does the enquiry form make a booking?
No. It lets Fables review your plans, check availability and prepare a quotation. The agreed booking arrangements are confirmed through the relevant quote and booking documents.
What if the venue details change?
Tell Fables as soon as you know. Different access, ground, power or timing arrangements need to be checked before assuming the original setup still works.
Which rules should I read before booking?
Read the detailed pizza questions on the main pizza page, How we work and the terms and conditions. They cover food provision, timing, dietary, access, power and other arrangements.
