Evening wedding pizza that fits your reception
Give your evening food a clear place in the wedding timetable, with guest numbers, pizza choices and serving arrangements agreed before the celebration.
Food, horseboxes and event moments.
Count the people who will be there to eat
Your evening catering number should reflect the guests you expect during the serving period. Tell us how many guests will stay from the day and how many will join later, along with the other food they will have been offered.
Keep the distinction between an estimated number during early planning and the final number agreed for the booking. If your list changes, discuss it with Fables so the food provision and quotation can be reviewed.
Choose a serving window guests can use
Work backwards from evening arrivals, speeches, the first dance and any other moments that bring guests together. Choose a food period when people will be able to leave the entertainment, collect their pizza and enjoy it.
Tell your venue, planner and entertainment suppliers the agreed food timing. Let guests know where and when food is served. A clear announcement or sign can help people find the horsebox without assuming they will see it from another room.
Understand the booked food and time limits
Your booking provides the agreed quantity of food for up to the agreed service period. Service ends when either that quantity has been served or the booked period ends, whichever happens first.
It is therefore useful to plan guest arrivals inside the serving window. Unlimited food, additional serving time and automatic handover of unused ingredients are not included. Any extension, additional food or takeaway arrangement must be expressly agreed with Fables and may cost extra.
Think about the route between the party and the food
Discuss the horsebox position with your venue, including the guest route, available space and any restrictions on outside food service. The towing vehicle needs suitable access, turning room and a safe setup area.
Electricity is required, with the supply arrangements confirmed for the allocated unit. Ask us about our own power before booking if no suitable venue supply is available; any additional price must be agreed in writing. Include these practical details in the same brief as your preferred pizzas and estimated numbers.
Your pizza catering questions.
Can we move the serving time later?
Ask Fables before making a change to the agreed timing. Availability, staffing, venue access and other arrangements need to be checked, and any extension or extra charge must be agreed.
Will pizza be served until every late guest has eaten?
Service is limited by the booked quantity and booked time, whichever is reached first. Plan arrivals within that window and tell guests the food times in advance.
Can we include desserts?
You can enquire about a vintage dessert tricycle or other catering extras. Include them in your brief so availability, pricing and service arrangements can be confirmed.
