Our vintage horseboxes are examples of the setup
Fables’ catering units share a vintage appearance, with green paintwork and dark wood cladding. Their size, shape and layout vary. Fables allocates a suitable unit according to venue access, available space, guest numbers, staffing and operational requirements.
Booking does not reserve a particular horsebox or unit shown in the gallery. The allocated unit may differ from the photograph. Read the existing vintage horsebox information for the full allocation and access details.
Turn inspiration into a venue plan
When you find a setting you like, consider the route into your own venue, the place a towing vehicle can turn and stand, the proposed serving area and the route guests will use. Ask the venue or landowner for permission and tell Fables about restrictions.
Electricity is required at the operating position. A photo of an outdoor event does not mean no supply is needed; Fables will confirm requirements for your equipment. Own power can be arranged in advance at an extra price agreed in writing.

A photograph or plan of your proposed setup position and access route can help us discuss the arrangements. Include the date, venue postcode, estimated guest numbers, preferred food and serving time.
You can also ask about a dessert tricycle or wider catering in the same enquiry. We will check availability and agree the arrangements through a personalised quote. Sending the enquiry does not reserve a date or confirm a booking.
