BBQ food & serving ideas in pictures

Explore grilled dishes, salads and event-serving settings, then turn the ideas you like into a menu and practical plan with Fables.

Use photographs to start a menu conversation

A picture can help you describe the kind of food or atmosphere you have in mind. You might be drawn to a varied grill platter, bright salads or an informal serving table. Bring those preferences to the menu discussion, then choose from the actual Fable or BBQ Street Food selection.

The photographs are food and setup inspiration. They do not establish a particular event history, equipment allocation or package inclusion. Your quotation and booking documents confirm the menu, quantity, serving arrangements and any extras for your own event.

Look at accompaniments as part of the meal

Salads and sides deserve attention alongside the main grilled dishes. The Fable menus list four salads, relishes, French sticks and butter, with a full salad and potato list to explore. Tell us which combinations you would like to discuss and confirm how the final choices will be recorded.

The separate BBQ Street Food Menu has its own side and dessert extras. An item visible in a buffet or dining photograph is not automatically included in either offer. Read the written menus when comparing the options, and ask about anything you want to add.

Turn a serving scene into your own venue plan

When a setting appeals to you, consider how it relates to your venue. Check the permitted cooking and serving area, the approach for catering equipment and the route guests will use. The available space, access and supplies still need agreement, even if another photograph looks similar.

A venue plan or photographs of your proposed setup position can make the enquiry more useful. Include the date, postcode, guest numbers and preferred food time. Tell Fables about cooking restrictions, electricity and outdoor-weather arrangements so the practical requirements can be discussed.

Choose the next detail to settle

Use the occasion guides for a wedding, company gathering or private party, then compare the full menus and starting prices. Discuss vegetarian or vegan portions and any food intolerance before booking. Fables does not cater for food allergies or guarantee allergen-free food.

Once the plan is agreed, keep the confirmed menu, food quantities, service window and responsibilities together. Sending an enquiry is the first step in checking availability; it does not reserve a date or confirm a particular setup from the gallery.

Good questions before booking

Your BBQ catering questions.

Will everything pictured be included?

Your written quotation confirms the actual menu, equipment, service and extras. Photographs are inspiration and do not automatically establish package inclusions.

Can I send a picture of our proposed serving area?

Yes. A venue photograph or plan can help explain the position and access route. Include your date, postcode, guest numbers and any restrictions so Fables can check the practical requirements.
