Choose the menu before choosing individual dishes

The three Fable menus and the BBQ Street Food Menu are separate selections. Each Fable menu gives a starting price per person and an allowance of three items per person. The street food menu asks you to choose four menu options; it does not state four servings for every guest.

These are published starting prices for planning. Your personalised quotation confirms the menu, portion numbers, guest count, venue, service, travel and any agreed extras. Do not assume that a photograph shows everything included in your booking.

Each Fable menu includes four salads as stated above. Browse the full published selection below and tell us which you prefer. Ingredients vary between dishes; a vegetarian label is not an allergy assurance.

• Alfresco salad – salad leaves, grated carrot, sweet peppers, spring onion and a balsamic and orange dressing
• Amalfi Salad – salad leaves, sun-blush tomatoes and olives
• Garden salad – Cos lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onions, cucumber and green beans with a garlic and honey dressing
• Mixed leaves with a ginger and lime dressing topped with sunflower and pumpkin seeds
• Three bean salad with herbs and feta
• Classic Caesar salad – crisp lettuce leaves, anchovies and croutons with grated parmesan and Caesar dressing
• Roasted Mediterranean vegetables with pasta, basil and Parmesan shavings

BBQ Street Food Menu — choose four options

This is a separate street food selection. Choose four menu options from the list below, then ask us to confirm the quantity, service and price for your event. A base price is not published for this menu.

• Classic Beef Burgers — Juicy beef patty topped with melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles, served in a soft sesame seed bun.
• BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders — Soft brioche buns filled with tender, slow-cooked pulled pork, topped with tangy coleslaw and BBQ sauce.
• Grilled Chicken Skewers — Marinated chicken skewers served with a choice of garlic mayo or spicy sriracha dip.
• Smoky BBQ Ribs — Fall-off-the-bone pork ribs brushed with a sweet and smoky BBQ glaze.
• Classic Hot Dogs — Grilled sausages served in a fresh bun with options of caramelized onions, ketchup, mustard, and cheese toppings.
• Chargrilled Veggie Wraps — Grilled peppers, mushrooms, and zucchini with hummus and a drizzle of balsamic glaze, wrapped in a soft tortilla.

Street food sides — £3 per person extra

The separate BBQ Street Food Menu lists the following side choices at £3 per person extra. Confirm your chosen side and the number of portions in your quote; these are not automatically added to a Fable menu.

Inclusions and menu notes

The BBQ Street Food Menu states that all items are served with napkins, cutlery and condiments. The Fable menus have their own inclusions above; your written quotation confirms the complete catering and service plan.

Meat and all fresh produce are locally sourced.

Discuss current dish availability and any menu changes before booking. Staff, table clearing, rubbish collection, equipment and event hire should be expressly listed where required, rather than assumed from a general menu or photograph.

Food intolerances and allergies

Fables caters for agreed food intolerances only. We do not cater for food allergies.

Please discuss any food intolerance with us before booking so we can confirm whether we can accommodate it. A request is included only once Fables has expressly confirmed the arrangements; entering it on a form does not confirm acceptance.

Our kitchens and mobile catering units handle allergens, and cross-contact can occur. We provide ingredient and allergen information, but do not guarantee allergen-free food. Vegan options are not necessarily suitable for someone with a food allergy.

Coeliac disease requires separate consideration and must not be treated as an ordinary intolerance request. Do not assume our food is suitable.

Confirm the agreed intolerance requirements and portion numbers on your final booking form, and tell us promptly about any changes. Please do not include guests’ names or medical histories.

Confirm food quantities and serving times

Fables provides the agreed quantity of food for up to the agreed service period. Service ends when the booked quantity has been served or the booked service period ends, whichever happens first. The booking does not include unlimited food or automatic extra serving time.

Send your preferred menu, guest numbers and proposed serving time with your date and venue postcode. An enquiry does not reserve the date. Fables will check availability and confirm the arrangements in the quotation and booking documents.
