BBQ catering for your party or celebration
Build a food plan for a birthday, garden gathering or private celebration, with the BBQ menu and practical arrangements agreed for your event.
BBQ food and event inspiration.
Plan around the people coming to the party
Tell us what you are celebrating, where the event will be held and how many guests you want catered for. Explain whether everyone will arrive for one meal or the party has a longer arrival period. Include the other food you plan to provide so the BBQ can be discussed in the right context.
If your guest list includes adults and children, share the numbers and ask how you would like their food provision arranged. Do not assume a separate children’s tariff or menu applies. The agreed dishes, quantities and serving window should be clear before the booking is confirmed.
Pick a menu before adding extras
Fable 1, Fable 2 and Fable 3 each offer a list of grilled choices and vegetarian or vegan alternatives. Their published starting prices are £22.95, £17.95 and £14.95 per person respectively. Each lists three items per person, four salads, relishes, French sticks and butter, with your actual selection confirmed in the quote.
You can also explore the separate BBQ Street Food Menu and its optional sides and desserts. Choose the food you would like to discuss first, then ask about any extra catering or hire. This keeps the main meal, accompaniments and additions visible in one plan.
Check the space beyond the garden gate
At a home or private venue, consider the whole route to the proposed cooking and serving area. Tell Fables about entrances, steps, slopes, parking and known restrictions. Obtain permission from the venue or landowner where needed and agree a safe operating position with room for guests to reach the food.
Discuss electricity, the setup time and the plan for wet weather. Keep guest activities and children’s play areas in mind when considering a position; Fables will confirm the practical requirements for the booked equipment. A photograph of another event cannot confirm that your own site is suitable.
Agree the practical jobs before the day
Record who will arrange eating space, bins, clearing and disposal. Table clearing and wider venue waste removal are included only if expressly listed in your booking. If you need waiting staff, crockery or event hire, include those requests when asking for a quote.
Let guests know the serving times so they can eat within the agreed period. The booked food quantity and service window set the limits; extra food, late service or takeaway arrangements require express agreement. Discuss food intolerances before booking, as Fables does not cater for food allergies.
Your BBQ catering questions.
Can we have BBQ catering at home?
Share the address or postcode, access route, proposed setup position and guest numbers. Fables will check the practical requirements and availability before confirming whether the arrangement is suitable.
Can we add desserts for the party?
Yes, you can discuss the published BBQ Street Food dessert choices or other catering. The street-food dessert selection is shown at £3 per person extra for one choice; confirm the option and price for your particular booking.
