Marquee Furniture Hire & Catering

A good marquee brief connects the dining layout with the way food will be served. Tables and chairs, catering equipment and guest circulation all use space, so it helps to discuss them before settling the final layout.

Our current marquee range

13 metres wide. Length to suit your plan.

Our marquee is 13m wide and extends in 3m length sections, from 3m to 24m. We also have a 10m × 10m top-hat pagoda and a 6m × 6m pagoda.

The team will confirm the offered configuration, availability, suitable layout and installation requirements for your site. No guest capacity is implied.

Choose a dining arrangement

Tell us whether you prefer seated dining, informal tables, standing reception space or a combination. Include the number of guests who need seats at the same time and any other areas that must fit. Your quote will confirm the furniture quantities and items being supplied; pictures are inspiration rather than a complete package specification.

Allow for food service

A buffet, grazing display, plated meal and outdoor pizza service each need their own practical arrangement. Tell the team where food will be prepared and served, who is supplying it and what access is available. A visible serving table is only one part of the catering space and logistics to agree.

Explore Fables catering options

Fables menus include pizza, street food, canapés, barbecue, buffets, afternoon tea and grazing. If you want catering alongside marquee hire, send the menu style, approximate headcount and serving times. For a wedding or multi-part event, separate each service so the complete requirements can be assessed. Food intolerances must be expressly agreed; Fables does not cater for food allergies.

Confirm the complete package

Discuss crockery, glassware, serving equipment, waiting staff, clearing and collection where relevant. These services are included only when stated in the booking. One clear quotation should distinguish the marquee, furniture, food and optional extras, together with the arrangements the organiser or venue must provide. Start with the details you have and we will help define the next steps.

Agree who supplies, serves and clears

List the tasks alongside the equipment. Supplying a table is different from setting it for dining, serving guests or clearing it afterwards. Delivery-only catering and a staffed service are also different arrangements. If you want waiting staff or additional clearing, include that request so it can be assessed and quoted explicitly.

For crockery and glassware, ask about the agreed return condition, quantities and collection arrangements. If another caterer is attending, use their actual equipment and service requirements in the marquee brief. Confirm which tables, utilities or other items they expect you to provide. The objective is one clear responsibility list, rather than assuming another supplier’s package fills every gap.
