Wedding Marquee Hire & Reception Planning

A wedding marquee can connect your ceremony setting, meal and evening celebration. The most useful first step is to describe how your day will run, rather than choosing a structure from guest numbers alone.

Our current marquee range

13 metres wide. Length to suit your plan.

Our marquee is 13m wide and extends in 3m length sections, from 3m to 24m. We also have a 10m × 10m top-hat pagoda and a 6m × 6m pagoda.

The team will confirm the offered configuration, availability, suitable layout and installation requirements for your site. No guest capacity is implied.

Compare the lengths and planning requirements

Plan each part of the day

Tell us how many guests will attend the daytime meal and the evening reception, whether you want seated dining, and what else needs space. A dance floor, bar position, catering service, speeches and a quieter seating area all affect the layout. Separate headcounts and timings help us understand the complete brief.

Connect the marquee to the venue

Think about the route from parking or the ceremony to the reception, access to toilets, and where catering will operate. The site needs to work for guests and for the delivery and installation team. Share usable measurements, photographs, slopes, narrow entrances and any venue restrictions early in the planning process.

Choose the finishing touches

Fables can discuss flooring, linings, swags, lighting, tables and chairs alongside the structure. The agreed specification will distinguish what is included from optional extras. Real photographs are useful inspiration, but individual arrangements and decorative items need to be confirmed in your quotation.

Coordinate the food and the space

Our catering menus include options for wedding meals, lighter receptions and evening food. If you want catering alongside marquee hire, tell us the service style and timings so the space and practical arrangements can be considered together. Start with your date, venue postcode and approximate numbers; the team will check availability and prepare options for your celebration.

Plan the change from dining to evening celebrations

Think about what happens after the meal as well as the initial table plan. If you want the space used differently later, tell the team which furniture or equipment would need to move, when that would happen and who you expect to handle it. A layout change or additional staffing is not automatically part of the hire.

Use one current plan to record the agreed positions, service times and supplier requirements. If your wedding plans develop, share the changes before treating a new arrangement as confirmed. This helps the marquee, catering and evening activities remain part of the same agreed brief rather than separate assumptions.
