You can enquire before every detail of your event is settled. A few clear facts help Fables check availability, understand the food you have in mind and identify the practical questions to resolve. Separate what is confirmed from what is still approximate, then update the team as your plans develop.
Give the date, location and proposed timing
Include your event date and venue postcode. If the venue is still being chosen, give the approximate area and say that the location is provisional. Fables is based in the Peterborough area and welcomes enquiries across the UK; availability and the arrangements for your location need to be checked.
Tell us when you would like food served and share any fixed venue access or collection times. For a wedding, include additional evening arrivals. For a company event, explain whether food is planned around a break, presentation or celebration.
Describe the food and guest numbers
Share the number of guests you want catered for, even if it is an estimate. Explain whether pizza is the main food or accompanies other catering. Give your preferred menu ideas and mention extras, such as a dessert tricycle, so the availability and complete price can be considered together.
Your booking will confirm a food quantity and service period. Service ends when the booked quantity is served or that period ends, whichever happens first. If you want extra food, longer service or a takeaway arrangement, include the request at the enquiry stage.
Share a budget with the right context
The published Fables planning guide gives typical pizza horsebox and street food prices of £700–£2,000+ for weddings of around 70–110 guests. This is a guide to typical events, not a fixed price for every booking or a per-person rate.
Your tailored quote depends on guest numbers, menu choices, venue location and setup requirements. Tell us your approximate budget and priorities so the proposed catering can be discussed with those details in view. Read the current packages and pricing page alongside your own quotation.
Flag the practical details early
Mention narrow entrances, slopes, soft ground or restricted setup space, and attach a venue plan or photographs if available. Electricity is required; ask the venue about a suitable supply at the operating position. If it is unavailable, Fables can discuss its own power for an extra charge agreed in writing in advance.
Fables caters for expressly agreed food intolerances only, not food allergies. Raise intolerance requirements before booking without including named guests’ medical histories. A form entry does not confirm acceptance, and vegan options are not automatically suitable for someone with a food allergy.
Your pizza catering questions.
Can we enquire with an estimated guest count?
Yes. Mark it as an estimate and explain what is still to be confirmed. The final food quantity and arrangements will need to be agreed for the booking.
Does sending an enquiry reserve the date?
No. An enquiry lets Fables review your plans and check availability. It does not confirm a booking, reserve a date or agree a final price.
Continue planning.
