Consider the enclosed format
An enclosed photo booth has a contained area where guests take part in the pictures. The style of enclosure, entry and internal arrangement depend on the model. Ask Fables to confirm the proposed equipment so you can plan around the actual setup.
Think about the photo experience you want guests to enjoy and how it fits your event. Tell the team whether you are planning individual portraits, pairs or particular groups. Group capacity and participation arrangements should be confirmed for the chosen booth, rather than estimated from a photograph.
When a contained booth fits the event
An enclosure separates the photo area visually from the wider room. Guests step into a defined space for their picture, which can appeal when you want the booth visit to feel like its own small activity. An open-air station makes the activity more visible and leaves guests gathering in the room instead.
The tradeoff is that the enclosure and its entrance shape how people take part. A contained format does not establish the group capacity, whether seating is provided or how accessible the entry will be. Check the proposed layout against your actual guest needs before choosing it.
- For family or friendship groups, agree the intended group size and framing rather than expecting everyone to fit inside together.
- For guests using mobility aids or needing assistance, discuss the complete approach and entry arrangement for the selected model.
- For a busy reception room, leave a clear place to wait outside the entrance without blocking the exit or nearby service routes.
- For photo privacy, discuss the delivery and access arrangements as well as the enclosure; being inside a booth does not decide who can see the finished pictures.
Plan the entrance and the complete space
Discuss where guests will approach, enter and leave, and where others can wait without crossing a busy doorway or service route. The enclosed structure is one part of the setup; delivery access and the surrounding guest area also need consideration.
Tell Fables about steps, lifts, narrow access, loading restrictions or a room changeover. Raise any mobility or assistance needs before booking so suitability and arrangements can be discussed. The team will confirm the specific equipment requirements for your venue conversation.
Agree what guests will receive
Describe the photo output you want and ask how the chosen booth provides it. Include any printing, digital sharing, host collection or particular prop requirements in your enquiry. Confirm those details in the quotation for the selected booking.
The current Fables Magic Mirror offer is paperless and has its own published package. Those QR-sharing arrangements, hire hours and starting price should not be assumed to describe the enclosed booth you are requesting. Each type’s agreed output and inclusions belong in its own quote.
Choose the timetable and venue arrangements
Send the date, postcode, approximate attendance and preferred operating window, along with the main event timings. Explain any venue restrictions on delivery, setup or collection, and ask how the package will fit the selected schedule.
Electricity and working Wi-Fi are required, with Fables confirming the equipment’s particular requirements. The client must arrange suitable electricity at the agreed setup location and time, plus the working connection at the operating location and any necessary login details. Tell the team about missing supplies early; own power can be quoted separately and does not provide Wi-Fi.
