Think about what you want to take away from the celebration. You might want still photos with friends and family, a moving 360 video moment, an open photo area or a more contained booth. The type you choose shapes the setup and the way guests take part.

Tell us which photos or clips you want your guests to receive and whether you would like prints or digital sharing, so the equipment and inclusions can be confirmed in your wedding quotation.

• For an energetic moving moment, compare a 360 video booth and allow for its full operating area.
• For a visible reception activity, consider an open photo station; for a contained booth visit, compare an enclosed format.

Fit it into your reception

Look at meals, speeches, cake cutting, the first dance and evening arrivals together. Find a useful operating window when guests can leave their tables and take part. Consider relatives who may leave earlier as well as friends arriving later.

Share the proposed start and finish times with Fables. Explain any room changeover and when the setup area becomes accessible. Ask how delivery, setup and the chosen operating hours fit together for your selected format, rather than assuming every type follows the same schedule.

The Magic Mirror option

Our Magic Mirror hire starts at £250 for 2 hours, with 2, 3 or 4-hour choices. Its included prop box, red carpet and red velvet rope barriers create a recognisable photo area, with unlimited visits during the allocated hire time. Delivery and setup are included during the selected time frame.

The current Magic Mirror service is paperless: guests scan a QR code to receive and save their photos, and the host receives a full digital folder after the event. These are the published Magic Mirror package details; confirm the output and inclusions separately for another type.

Give your venue a useful brief

Discuss the complete setup with the venue, including how guests will approach and leave the photo area. Fables will confirm the requirements for the equipment you are booking. Include access restrictions, steps, room changeovers and any particular guest access needs in the conversation.

The client must arrange a suitable electricity supply at the agreed setup location and time. The client must also arrange a working Wi-Fi connection at the equipment’s operating location and provide any necessary login details. Tell Fables early if a supply is unavailable. Own power can be quoted separately, but does not provide Wi-Fi.
